About us
Enhance Your Life
Persistence Driven Coaching is built on a simple belief: real change happens when people feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
This work is designed for individuals who carry real responsibilities—at work, at home, and in their relationships—and want to navigate those responsibilities with greater steadiness, clarity, and balance.
Over time, it becomes easy to stay focused on what needs to be done while gradually setting aside your own well-being. Not in obvious ways, but in small, consistent ways that add up.
This approach creates space to step back, reset, and begin building practical habits that restore direction, reduce stress, and support long-term stability.
I help individuals strengthen what’s already within them—their resilience, clarity, and inner steadiness—so they can move through life with more purpose and less internal strain.
The focus is not on pressure or quick transformation, but on steady, consistent progress that holds up in real life.

Meet Coach Gary Williams, MAHSC
Founder and Lead Coach
I am Gary Williams, a trauma-informed coach who came to understand—later in life—that real success isn’t defined by money or material achievement.
It’s defined by the steadiness, clarity, and sense of purpose that come from within—and naturally extend into how we live and relate to others.
Like many people, I spent years focused on responsibilities, expectations, and doing what needed to be done. Over time, I learned that without intentional awareness and consistent internal work, it’s easy to lose balance without even realizing it.
That experience shaped the foundation of Persistence Driven Coaching.
My role is not to tell people what to do, but to guide them in learning how to work with themselves more effectively building awareness, developing practical tools, and creating steady habits that support lasting change.
Through this process, clients gain the ability to navigate stress, challenges, and responsibilities with greater resilience, clarity, and grounded calm.
This is not about becoming someone different.
It’s about becoming more consistent in how you show up in your own life.

More About Coach Gary
Education and qualifications to be your personal coach.
Following high school in the mid-1970s, Gary pursued studies in business and computer science at the community college level, earning more than 60 credit hours. Although life circumstances delayed the completion of a degree, his commitment to learning never stopped.
After retiring due to physical limitations following an automobile accident, Gary returned to higher education in 2021 through Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Transferring 64 previously earned credit hours, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in July 2023, with concentrations in Business Management, Computational Science, and Christian Counseling.
Driven by a desire to better serve individuals facing life's challenges, Gary continued his graduate education and earned a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 2024, focusing on Crisis Response and Trauma Counseling, along with Public and Community Health. He then completed a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling: Crisis Response and Trauma Counseling in May 2025.
While attending Liberty University, Gary became a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the American Psychological Association (APA), maintaining active membership in both organizations. He was also inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society and graduated with that distinction.
In addition to his university education, Coach Gary is certified in Brain Health Coaching and Coffee Cup Counseling and has completed numerous continuing education programs through Light University and the AACC. He remains committed to lifelong learning and continues to pursue advanced training each year in coaching, counseling, personal development, trauma recovery, and wellness.
Reminder: Although Coach Gary's education includes extensive study in counseling, crisis response, trauma-informed care, and community health, his services are provided exclusively as coaching and educational support. He does not provide therapy, mental health counseling, or clinical treatment.
While there are no client testimonials on the site at this time, Gary has spent decades helping others as a friend, neighbor, coworker, mentor, and trusted source of encouragement during life's challenges. He is known for maintaining a calm, steady perspective during difficult situations and helping others find practical ways to move forward.
Gary's coaching approach is deeply influenced by his own life experiences. Following a serious automobile accident in 2018, he faced significant physical limitations, financial hardship, and emotional challenges that required tremendous perseverance and resilience. During that difficult season, he learned firsthand the importance of adaptability, personal responsibility, faith, and maintaining hope when circumstances seem overwhelming.
Rather than allowing adversity to define him, Gary dedicated himself to learning, growth, and helping others overcome obstacles in their own lives. Over the past several years, he has pursued extensive study, research, and training in public and community health, personal development, emotional wellness, and resilience-building strategies.
Today, Coach Gary helps individuals identify meaningful goals, develop practical action plans, build healthy habits, and stay accountable throughout the process. His mission is to encourage, support, and empower people as they work toward greater confidence, purpose, and personal success.
Please note: Coaching is designed to help clients pursue personal growth and achieve specific goals. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or mental health care.
"I became a coach because I know what it feels like to face uncertainty, setbacks, and major life transitions. My goal is to help others develop the mindset, habits, and resilience needed to move forward with confidence, purpose, and hope."- Coach Gary, September 20, 2026.
